progetto casa vacanze

d.060B holiday house project – Località Terrata, Golfo Aranci (OT, Sardinia)
Study of the interior of a holiday house in Sardinia, in a district of Golfo Aranci with a wonderful view of Tavolara island, designed with the idea of giving back the ancient stazzu of Sardinian rural tradition in a contemporary point of view. The focal point of the work is the realization of two completely different project proposals while respecting and maintaining within the same predetermined external volume. On the one hand, a holiday home with a more traditional layout but enhanced with details such as boiserie, niches, use of local materials and custom-designed furniture. On the other, an open space that allows you to keep the southern front completely free or, if necessary, to create a guest area thanks to the presence of a double sliding door. The addition of a large portico on the side more exposed to the sun is a license compared to the compact and linear body that characterizes the original stazzu of Sardinian shepherds. In this way the surface of the house expands towards the large garden and can be lived in a continuous between inside and outside.
