progetto casa vacanze

d.091 holiday house project – Lake Garda
How much do I wish that my friends were with me for a moment to enjoy the prospect which now lies before my eyes! I might have been in Verona this evening: but a magnificent natural phenomenon was in my vicinity,—Lake Garda, a splendid spectacle, which I did not want to miss
The charm of Lake Garda conquered Goethe during his many trips, and even today continues to attract visitors for enjoyable short or long periods of stay. In this pleasant and light environment we have been entrusted with the design and personalization of the interiors of a brand new holiday house. “Give continuity and expand the spaces”: the leitmotiv of the project takes shape thanks to the large external sliding door that separates the living room from the sleeping area and, if open, expands the spatial perception of the day area. In order to make the best use of the spaces, an in-line kitchen ends on one side in the technical columns, and on the other becomes one with the furnishings of the living area. The TV cabinet is a suspended shelf that from a container becomes a bench, giving continuity and new order to the spaces. The particular attention in the selection of finishes in scale and shades of gray can be found in the choice of floors, in the back of the bench made of stone and in the ceramic covering of the kitchen. Even in the bathroom you find this same care in the choice of materials: the shower covering extends towards the sink and a materic curtain wall hides the cabinet-container which gives order. Equal attention was paid to the study of lighting: recessed light are interspersed with carefully selected wall light fixtures.
