Ci sono luoghi così intensi che quando si progetta occorre procedere per riduzione, portare il tutto ai minimi termini in un operazione in cui si toglie piuttosto che aggiungere. Non sempre è una cosa facile, ma qui non c’è stata scelta perché in questa villetta bifamiliare che domina l’intera Valle Imagna con una vista a 360° proiettata in un panorama che toglie il fiato, si ha già tutto. Il progetto ha cercato di eliminare tutto ciò che chiudeva gli spazi, abbiamo cercato di liberare l’essenziale in un’operazione di taglio spazi che potesse ridare funzionalità a questa casa rifugio. Sono state aperte due nuove finestre con l’obbiettivo di fondere interno ed esterno. È stato creato un blocco centrale in legno con la funzione di dispensa, contenitori e panca come una sorta di quinta che riordinasse gli spazi. Oltre alla distribuzione, l’attenzione è stata posta nella selezione dei materiali: calce naturale, lavorazioni a spatola, legni piallati e laccature materiche sono state scelte per i rivestimenti, pavimentazioni e tutti gli arredi su misura.

It’s not always an easy thing, but here there was no choice because in this semi-detached house that dominates the entire Imagna Valley with a 360 ° view projected in a breathtaking panorama, you already have everything. The project tries to eliminate everything that closes the spaces, we try to free the essential in an operation of spaces arrangement that could restore functionality to this shelter house. Two new windows have been opened with the aim of merging interior and exterior. A central wooden block has been created with the function of pantry, containers and bench as a sort of backdrop that tidies up the spaces. In addition to distribution, attention was paid to the selection of materials: natural lime, spatula work, planed wood and materical lacquerings have been chosen for the coverings, flooring and all the custom-made furnishings.
